Stationery Packaging Suite

This project focused on designing a three-item packaging suite for a set of related, shelf-ready products. Each package was required to function as part of a cohesive visual system while maintaining its own unique identity. Emphasis was placed on creating a unified “family” of products through consistent branding, thoughtful typography, and structural design. One or more items were required to include a paper-folded box or carrying solution to house the entire suite. In addition to product labels, a custom logo system was developed using either a symbolic, typographic, or combined approach to ensure the packaging was both visually compelling and retail-ready.

This stationery packaging suite was designed to reflect the natural beauty and creative energy of Montana’s Rocky Mountains, aligning with a brand mission rooted in sustainability, artistic expression, and community. The suite includes three shelf-ready products—journals, writing instruments, and adhesives—that function as a cohesive family while maintaining individual product identities. Each item was thoughtfully packaged using recyclable, biodegradable materials, with a focus on eliminating excess and highlighting utility. A paper-folded box serves as both protective packaging and a convenient carrying case for the full set, supporting both function and environmental responsibility.

To further unify the suite, a custom brand identity was developed that incorporates both typographic and illustrative elements. The logo acts as a “stamp of approval,” designed to be versatile enough for embossing, labeling, and scaled applications. This identity system not only supports visual cohesion across the packaging but also strengthens the brand’s connection to its values—minimalism, creativity, and eco-consciousness. The end result is a product line that is visually clean, materially efficient, and thoughtfully tailored to appeal to designers, artists, and creative thinkers.
